By using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP. Failure to comply may result in suspension or termination of your account.

You are prohibited from using the Service for the following activities:

  • Malicious Use: Using the Service to harm, harass, stalk, or invade the privacy of others.
  • Data Misuse: Collecting, storing, or sharing data obtained through the Service for unauthorized purposes, such as selling or distributing it to third parties.
  • System Abuse: Attempting to hack, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the functionality of the Service, including the app, dashboard, or servers.
  • Fraudulent Activity: Using the Service to engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices, such as impersonating others or providing false information.
  • Illegal Content: Using the Service to access, store, or transmit illegal content, including but not limited to child exploitation material, hate speech, or copyrighted material without permission.
  • Overloading Systems: Engaging in activities that overload or disrupt our systems, such as sending excessive requests or attempting denial-of-service attacks.

5. Legal Compliance and Consent

EyeOnKid is a powerful monitoring tool, and its use must comply with legal requirements:

  • Consent Requirements: You must obtain explicit consent from any adult being monitored, unless you are monitoring your own child under 18 or the device is company-owned and consent is legally obtained.
  • Jurisdictional Laws: Monitoring laws vary by country and region. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with the laws of your jurisdiction, including privacy, data protection, and employment laws.
  • Stealth Mode: While EyeOnKid offers stealth mode on certain platforms (e.g., Android), you must ensure that its use complies with legal requirements for consent and notification.

EyeOnKid is not responsible for any legal consequences arising from your misuse of the Service or failure to comply with applicable laws.

6. Consequences of Violations

If you violate this AUP, we may take one or more of the following actions:

  • Issue a warning to you via email or within the dashboard.
  • Suspend your access to the Service temporarily until the violation is resolved.
  • Terminate your account and delete all associated data, without refund for any unused subscription period.
  • Cooperate with law enforcement authorities if the violation involves illegal activity.

We reserve the right to take action at our sole discretion, depending on the severity of the violation.

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements.
